The Winston's Edge

Here's what I really think about Winston's Joint Health Formula.

Why am I writing this? Well, when I was thinking of buying Winston's, there weren't many reviews around.

So, I thought I'd do a quick write-up to help any of you who are in the same position I was.

My first impressions of Winston's:

At first, I thought this was just another vitamin for dogs. I'd heard it all before. And the claims seemed unrealistic. A lot of companies are selling nutritional products for dogs, and each one is better than everyone else, according to them.

How Winston's has helped my dog get better:

My dog Babe lost one of her legs as a puppy, and now, as an adult (Rottweiler mix), she's been showing some joint degeneration that is typical of large breed dogs, probably more advanced because of her disability and extra stress on the remaining rear leg.

At the advice of my veterinarian, we first put Babe on medication. This gave her some relief from pain at first, but it didn't last. Besides, the drugs were expensive, it didn't do anything toward repairing the joints, and we worried about side effects.

Next, we had heard good things about glucosamine and chondroitin, so we put her on that. After an entire year on those supplements, we couldn't see much improvement, and some days, it seemed she hadn't been helped at all.

After that we got her a wheel chair for dogs. It gives her some mobility, especially on those days when she can hardly get around, but she doesn't like being in it. The biggest problem with doggie wheelcarts, though, is that it's difficult for the dog to eliminate (they can't squat), and their terrain has to be pretty much level, with no narrow places. She can't get through doors, for example. In addition, you can't really let her out of sight. It's not too difficult to get into a tough spot and need a quick rescue to get rolling again.

Then we heard about Winston's Joint System.

The results of using Winston's:

It took only one month to see that it was helping her. She felt better right away, because there is a pain control component to the formula, and the joint tissue repair ingredients seemed to be helping her get her strength back.

After three months, Babe was a different dog!

She didn't seem to need her wheelchair anymore, unless she played so hard that she got tired. Best of all, now she is eager to get outside in the morning, in contrast to that hang dog look on her face that seemed to say, "Oh, do I have to?" It's rewarding to see that look of enthusiasm and love of life in her eyes again!

What I find most useful about Winston's:

The product ships quickly so you can get started right away, and the company likes to hear from you about your dog's progress.

Who would benefit from purchasing Winston's:

All dog owners should be interested in this product. It's a lot like people taking their vitamins... you can wait till you feel bad and then try to get better, or you can take a maintenance dose to prevent problems from even developing.

Although every dog could benefit from Winston's, it really shines for those larger breed dogs who are suffering from joint problems already. The improvement is dramatic.

But it's truly in your dog's best interest to be using Winston's on a daily basis.

And, there is a formula for cats as well! Yes, cats can get arthritis, too. There isn't much available for our feline friends, especially in the area of pain control. Winston's fills that gap nicely.

Negatives about Winston's:

The cost can be an issue, especially if you're already in debt with your veterinarian for treatments that haven't worked, but in reality, it's still less costly than using traditional veterinary remedies and treatments. And you'll catch up soon enough!
